What Is Your Opinion- Poets Born Or Made?

Poetry can be one of the most winsome literary artwork that man has ever curated. Aside from its rhyme and rhythm, it has also symbolic languages and natural expressions. It also depicts sensory images which the poet tries to exhibit through his magnificent and colorful words. Because of these traits and elements, poetry does not only amuse but also kindle critical and creative thoughts among readers.

To better enjoy poetry one must understand what poetry is. Poetry is described in different authors. One of the most noteworthy definitions of poetry is the definition given by Aristotle who says that poetry is an imitation of arts. To demonstrate it further, Aristotle describes that there are 3 different ways of imitation that are the medium, object and the way of imitation. There are number of medium of imitation such as voice, rhythmic movement and so forth. Another way of imitating is with a particular object.

On the other hand, writers are very much appreciated because of their unmatchable minds that they can recognize things in a various ways. Another thing that makes them praiseworthy is their selection of words and that made poetry unique from prose.

As a matter of fact, there is an interesting argument that whether a poet is born or made. Many people would day that writers are born because they have unique ability to use their words. Unlike other people, they can only touch one’s life and inspire ones thinking through their impressive and heart-touching words.

While on the other hand, some would claim that poets are made. When they grow up, they are inspired and motivated to write for some reasons. Initially, they are not that much proficient but as the years passed, they are slowly becoming at ease in writing and more virtual as the others do.
